At One Financial Services, our focus is on assisting our clients to create a solid financial plan for their and their families’ futures. We value the hard work and discipline it takes to build that future, from funding your children’s education through to your retirement.
With November being National Scholarship Month, we thought this was an excellent time to discuss the role scholarships can play in paying for a college education and reducing the need for debt accumulation. There are thousands of scholarships available, both locally and nationally, many of which go unused because no one has done the research to find them.
That’s one reason that One Financial Services offers its annual Bernie McElwain - Mary Nothelfer Scholarship, as a way to show our appreciation for the trust that has been placed in us and the long-time support of the Lehigh Valley community.
Created in 2018 to honor One Financial Services Co-founder Mary Nothelfer and her father, a World War II veteran, Bernie McElwain, our firm is proud to announce the anticipated 2025 scholarship will once again be offered to a female Kutztown University
student who meets the following criteria.
