Giving Tuesday is More Than a Day, It’s a Philosophy…

November 30, 2020

On this Day of National Giving, known as “Giving Tuesday”, it would be hard to think of a year, in recent history, where the spirit of kindness, generosity, and concern for others was more evident or important than this year.

2020 has seen a pandemic sweep the country, resulting in the loss of friends and family, the closing of businesses, and the distancing from those we love.

Through it all, what has stood out beyond what has been lost, is what has been given. We have seen the very best of the American spirit…and the Lehigh Valley spirit, in those who have continued to care for others, have volunteered their time, and given to those in need.

One Financial Services is proud of its long tradition of ongoing community support of local charities throughout the year. And, on this special Day of Giving, each employee was provided the opportunity to play an important part in the firm’s philanthropic mission by directing our corporate funds to a charity of their choosing.

This year, One Financial Services donated a total of $5,410 to 17 different charities selected by the firm’s employees.

According to One Financial Services Principal and Co-founder, Jack Morrone, “As a firm, we are proud to take this collaborative action to help improve the local community and to give back to the charities and causes that will create a better community and a better world. This program allows our employees to direct funds to organizations that are close to their hearts. We are proud to support our employees and their chosen organizations each year on this National Day of Giving.”

One Financial Services believes its mission is to be active, contributing community participants while helping clients make informed life decisions that aim to positively impact the quality of their life and to plan for their financial independence.
