Robert “Chuck” Schubert CPA, PFS®
Personal Financial Specialist
Chuck brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to One Financial Services in his role as an LPL Investment Advisor Representative and an LPL Registered Representative. His diverse background and training enable him to help his clients pursue their long-term financial goals.
Raised in a large family by a single mother, Chuck grew up with an appreciation of the challenges faced by many families, especially those who are working to rebuild their personal and financial lives after a divorce, loss of a spouse or a major injury. At age 15, Chuck began contributing to his family’s welfare through jobs in both the hospitality and construction industries. This early introduction to the real world led to a strong work ethic and passion for customer service.
Prior to joining One Financial Services, Chuck spent 15 years building a fee-based financial planning practice with the Advisor Group. He also spent 5 years in public accounting gaining valuable insights into the obstacles and demands facing business owners, followed by 10 years in a variety of Fortune 500 corporate finance positions working with executives and cross-functional teams on large global projects. He has a deep understanding of the important role a financial advisor can play in wealth accumulation, tax savings, and succession planning.
Holding the designation of Personal Financial Specialist® (PFS®) means Chuck is also a CPA with specialized knowledge of financial planning areas of investing, insurance, taxation, and estate planning. This highly regarded credential, along with Chuck’s broad professional background and empathetic, consultative approach provide him with the ability to help his clients make informed financial decisions and to create and stick to a long-term plan designed to achieve their life’s goals.
Chuck and his wife Karen (Fauerbach) to whom he has been married since 1993, reside in Palmer Township. They are the proud parents of Shannon (born 2001) and Trevor (2003). Outside of work, Chuck spends as much time as possible with his family. He also enjoys golf, watching an occasional Steelers win, and supporting live music. You may even find Chuck embracing his passion as a musician, performing at a coffee house, winery, or charitable event.
Chuck’s diverse and extensive business and financial background provide his clients with someone who can offer a comprehensive approach to achieving life’s goals. His ongoing commitment is to ensure a collaborative, comprehensive plan is in place and reviewed regularly to meet a family’s and/or a business’s ever-changing needs. Chuck’s attention to detail, good listening skills, and personal empathy make him a valuable advisor.
